Making Your Restaurant Green
Green is the new everything! If you're a restaurant, cafe or bistro owner, think about "going green". Here are a few tips to get started!

1. Start an organic Garden, or, start buying in bulk from local producers and farmer's markets.
2. Install a Water Purification System and eliminate bottled water and the associated pollutants.
3. Compost! Turn your veggie and fruit trimmings into dirt. Coffee grounds too!
4. Recycle, Recycle, Recycle. If you're reading this, you probably do that already but it never hurts to say it again. Recycle!
5. In-house production. Experiment with making jams, vinegars and salsas in house. You might find out that people come to you for those delicacies!
6. Serve Wine On Tap. Skip the bottle. Serve eco-friendly wine-on tap. Save shipping costs and the environment at the same time!
7. Go Bio: Use only biodegradable products for to-go and take-with orders, including corn-based utensils, containers an straws.
